Having kids is definitely a daily challenge, and when they grow older and become opinionated, it can be even harder. Yesterday, my 21-year-old daughter hit me with some stellar encouragement: “Mom, your social media sucks!” Well, thanks for the uplifting words, sweetheart! So, how can I improve it? “It’s just bad, and no one cares about what you post!” Ah, I see. Maybe you’d like to manage it for me then? “No!”
Well, I’ve come to a realization. It’s my very own challenge, a delightful little adventure where I get to experiment with life. Social media is for the others, but this blog is my sanctuary to share the joyous moments and hurdles I encounter daily. Hopefully, I can inspire one or two souls out there to embrace life’s everyday challenges.
However, I’m all ears, and I received the message loud and clear: my videos are too darn long. So, my challenge for the day was to find a nifty editing app and start honing my skills by splicing together my headstand pose transitioning into a crow pose.
Remember to keep that smile intact and try something new every single day, even if your kids and friends think you’re an absolute joke. But hey, who needs validation when you’ve got a wicked sense of humor, right?
